In 2005 we bought De Cour. This fulfilled a long-held wish. A romantic, monumental farmhouse with a long history. Since then we are constantly restoring and building our place. With a local contractor and artisans, we gradually turn it into paradise, ours at least. We are happy to show our guests around and tell about the rich history of our building and surroundings. We named the houses after the grandmothers and aunt who lived in and around Gronsveld: Rosalie, Anna and Marie.

We love South Limburg. The rolling landscape with forests, meadows and fruit trees. The idyllic villages with small pubs and restaurants. In many places you can still get regional dishes with a real Limburg beer. Maastricht is a Burgundian city where we like to have a drink on a terrace or visit a museum. On Sundays we walk in the Savelsbos or make a trip to Liège or Tongeren. On a warm day you can find us on the river Maas in Eijsden, enjoying a glass of white wine with a view of the castle.
