Two holiday houses in heritage building

Business meetings in in private setting

Welcome

This historic square farmhouse houses our own residence, the barn, and two spacious vacation rentals. Both vacation rentals are comfortably and modernly furnished and equipped with fully outfitted kitchens. Each bedroom has large beds and its own private bathroom

If you’re not in the mood to cook, there are several restaurants in Gronsveld. Maastricht, the most Burgundian city in the Netherlands, is right around the corner. During the day, there is plenty to do in the immediate area. Go for a walk along the rivers or through the forest. Bike through the hills from village to village. Enjoy the panoramic views, centuries-old castles, and unique nature. In the evening, stretch out on the couch or play games the old-fashioned way. Or head out to vibrant Maastricht, with its cozy outdoor cafés and authentic squares and streets.

Gronsveld is part of Eijsden-Margraten, the southernmost municipality in the Netherlands. It lies in the middle of the hill country, bordering the French-speaking town of Visé. In our restored Limburg square farmhouse, which once housed a brewery, we offer two vacation homes accommodating a total of 16 guests. The homes were recently renovated with authentic elements preserved and have been carefully furnished. Our accommodation is an excellent base for active or culinary weekends with family or friends, and is also very suitable for meetings, brainstorming sessions, and corporate outings.

The Limburg hills with Maastricht, Liege, Hasselt and Aachen at a short distance offer plenty of opportunities for a surprising weekend or 'southern' vacation.

Do you have something to celebrate, an anniversary or birthday then you are very welcome with us. However, the design and location of our monument is not suitable for noisy parties, bachelor parties or "the annual weekend away" of groups of men only.

Meeting, brainstorming, etc. with overnight stay is possible with us in peace and privacy. In the former Brewery is a spacious meeting room. Internet is available both inside and outside.

For catering or cook we will gladly give you more information.

Because we want to offer our guests a fresh and clean house, smoking is only allowed outdoors, music only inside. We are sorry, but you cannot bring any pets.

Our accommodation

Historic site

Our farmhouse dates back to 1730 (some parts are even medieval) and is located in the middle of the village. When arranging and building our vacation homes, we took into account the original intimate atmosphere of the farmhouses and the industrial look of the brewery. Moreover, we want to offer both families and large groups a personal and comfortable accommodation.

Houses

The vacation homes both have their own character and layout. Authentic elements have been preserved as much as possible. During the recent renovations, contemporary requirements for comfort have been taken into account. Each bedroom has private bathroom and comfortable beds. The beds are 90 cm wide and 2.00 / 2.10 m long. The kitchens are equipped with all appliances.

Surroundings

Within walking distance, you’ll find grocery stores, cafés, and excellent restaurants with great value for money. Walking and cycling paths are just around the corner. The Savelsbos forest, with its beautiful panoramic views, is attractive in every season. By car or bike, you can reach Burgundian Maastricht or the authentic Maas village of Eijsden in no time. Liège, the ‘little Paris on the Meuse,’ is just over 15 minutes away, and Aachen in Germany is roughly a half-hour drive.

Voor groepen tot 20 gasten

Group accommodation

Groups can stay with us comfortably. For 16 people, there are 7 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The 2 kitchens are fully equipped, including an oven and dishwasher. The living rooms are spacious and cozy. The Brewery room offers space for communal dining, presentations, or meetings. Afterwards, you can enjoy a drink in the charming vaulted cellar, and perhaps a tune will be played on the piano. In good weather, it’s wonderful to relax under the trees at the long tables in the courtyard.

Pricing

Our prices depend on the chosen accommodation, the number of nights, the desired number of bedrooms and the number of guests. Prices include energy, bed, bath and kitchen linen, VAT and tourist tax. From October to April we charge an energy surcharge per night per house.

Your host and hostess

In 2005 we bought De-Cour. This fulfilled a long cherished wish. A romantic, monumental farm with a long history. Since then we have been continuously restoring and building our place. With a local contractor and craftsmen we make it a dream spot little by little.

We like to show our guests around and tell them about the rich history of our building and surroundings. We named the houses after the grandmothers and aunt who lived in Gronsveld and neighborhood: Anna, Rosalie and Marie.
